I have opened my second art exhibition

I have opened my second exhibition of personal works "From Sicily to Dahab" at the event venue "Zeit" in Ligatne, where you can see my 26 paintings, which have been created in recent years while traveling the world.

This is an "exhibition of traveling paintings" most of these works have originated outside Latvia and have come here in many different ways – sent to Latvia with friends in sports bags, rolled into plastic pipes and so on. 

My paintings are my travel diaries – the adventures of the Bedouin desert of Dahab, the charm of the azure sea of Greece, or the romantic vibes of Italy. They are made on canvases bought on trips, with local colors and include all those beautifully imperfect things - some stuck desert sand, folds or cracks on the canvas. The paintings tell the stories of my travels through the smallest details, not just through the bright and extravagant characters depicted in them.

The exhibition is on display from May 9 to June 29, 2026, at the event venue "Zeit", Ligatne, Gaujas Street 4, Latvia. Admission is free.
