My Sahara desert art

My Sahara Desert art residency in southern Morocco was such an adventure. I also loved the desert before, but I fell in love again. I painted on old Berber sheets with a dried brush, near an old straw hut on the edge of the desert by a large dune.

This was my most beautiful art workshop in the sun and wind, where I found endless peace and inspiration. The simplicity and beauty of life, endless horizon, sand, camels, kind locals.

The desert is peace, the desert does not rush, there is no noise and stress in the desert. Just space, silence and time. Thanks to the kasbah hotel (or as I call it - "the desert castle") Carrefour des Nomades for inviting me to visit.
