ALHAMDULILLAH - may Allah turn all your Insha’Allah into Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah used to express gratitude in all circumstances, whether for successes, challenges, or everyday blessings.

Painted in Dahab, in Muhammed’s Bedouin house among the sand and dust under the open sky in the sun and wind together with two Bedouin cats as assistants. The inspiration for this painting comes from my adventures in the deserts with camels and nomad people. The desert is a place that calls me again and again and I feel at home there.
