My journey alone to Dahab was full of trials and adventures, when for the first time in my life I gathered all my little courage and went alone into a world unknown to me - a world where men walk in long white robes, women hide behind black scarves and embroider endlessly beautiful beadwork, a world where the desert meets the sea, where the moon shines brightly on hot nights and camels roam the desert and Bedouin children play with goats in the sandy streets of Dahab.

Several years have passed since that trip, but every winter I return to Dahab, where the desert nights, bright colors, camels and Bedouin princesses call me. And every year, I create new paintings and drawings - inspired by Dahab, Arab and desert world. Arabian Nights is one such work inspired by Dahab.
