Have the courage to be imperfect. In Egypt I am learning life and art far from perfection. I am learning to paint differently than at home. I am inspired by the environment and people around here - in the Bedouin village of Dahab, sitting in my apartment on the ground like a Bedouin at a small table, overlooking the sea at the edge of the desert and drawing my Bedouin princesses, who disappear into the mirages of the desert in the warm nights of the Sinai desert mountains.
