After a beautiful trip through the ancient cities of the silk road in Uzbekistan, a series of works inspired by eastern fairy tales was created "Road to Samarkand", where I put all my dreams on paper, experimenting with a new style - paper, watercolor, oil crayons, acrylic. Tile patterns, gorgeous oriental buildings, moonlit nights and oriental fairy princesses.
The inspiration for this work was the only Uzbek camel I met in Khiva's Old Town, where merchants were selling their colorful blankets, silk scarves and dresses. The hot desert sun was burning and people were lazily gliding through the streets.
