After a beautiful trip through the ancient cities of the silk road in Uzbekistan, a series of works inspired by eastern fairy tales was created "Road to Samarkand", where I put all my dreams on paper, experimenting with a new style - paper, watercolor, oil crayons, acrylic. Tile patterns, gorgeous oriental buildings, moonlit nights and oriental fairy princesses.
The old town of Khiva inspired me for this work. When I was there there was a full moon at night and I loved the city so much it was like I had stepped into the set of an old movie, with the warm air, the colorful silk scarves blowing in the wind, the bright colors and the peace that reigned there, this was one of the most beautiful places to be and be inspired. A city where you could move around without a map, walking through the winding little streets, wandering into every courtyard, discovering fabulously amazing views. It feels like from the movies about the fairy land of Aladdin.
