Origin: Dahab, Egypt

Mashallah is an Arabic phrase meaning “God has willed it” / “What Allah has willed”, used to express admiration, joy, or gratitude for a positive event or blessing while acknowledging it is by God`s will.
Painted in Dahab, in Muhammed’s Bedouin house among the sand and dust under the open sky in the sun and wind together with two Bedouin cats as assistants. I am inspired by the people of the desert; I want to paint them again and again.
