After a beautiful trip through the ancient cities of the silk road in Uzbekistan, a series of works inspired by eastern fairy tales was created "Road to Samarkand", where I put all my dreams on paper, experimenting with a new style - paper, watercolor, oil crayons, acrylic. The seemingly imperfect background and detailed foreground image. Tile patterns, gorgeous oriental buildings, moonlit nights and oriental fairy princesses.
* The Registan – was the heart of the ancient city of Samarkand of the Timurid Empire, now in Uzbekistan. The name Registan means "sandy place" or "desert" in Persian.
