After a beautiful trip through the ancient cities of the silk road in Uzbekistan, I created a series of works inspired by oriental fairy tales - "Road to Samarkand", where I put all my oriental dreams on paper, experimenting with a new style - paper, watercolor, oil crayons, acrylic. Patterns of tiles, magnificent buildings of the East, moonlit nights and princesses of Eastern fairy tales - topics that fascinate me and inspire me to draw.
While in Bukhara, my friends took me to a tea house, where we drank saffron and ginger teas and ate oriental sweets. There was silence in the teahouse, a person at the next table was reading a book, the walls were decorated with colorful oriental rugs, and at that moment I knew that I would draw a work called "Saffron Tea", later we went to see the beautiful magnificent buildings and take photos in oriental clothes fluttering in the wind.
