Painted in Dahab. My friend Alisa from Dahab really liked the lotus cake bought at the local cafe. In my naivety, I thought that the heavenly taste of this cake was because it had been made from some kind of mystical lotus flower with the help of fairy dust. And then I painted this painting – sweet as a lotus cake, pink as a Dahab sunset and sunny as the Sinai desert. P.S. in fact, the cookies from which this cake is made are called lotus cookies. Disappointment of the century 😉 Moral: too much knowledge does not make you happy and creative.
