While living in Dahab, I have fallen in love more and more with the shades of gold and all the brown tones of the desert - the color of the desert sunset in the mountains, melted milk chocolate, a freshly baked cinnamon bun with a milky golden vanilla sauce, the smell of palo santo, palm-woven dishes, the brown skins of the Bedouins, the silhouettes of camels in the desert, the sheen of gold jewelry on tanned skin. I love the warm color inspiration that makes friends with gold and bronze. This work depicts the time of Ramadan - a time of celebration. Dinner by lantern light, coffee, tea and juicy dates.
